John Hutson, Jr.

June 15, 1935 — June 25, 2014

John T. Hutson, Jr. passed peacefully yesterday morning June 25, 2014, in his home in Lake Shore.  John was born on June 15, 1935 to parents Maude and John T. Hutson Sr. and dear brother of the late Dennis Hutson.

John graduated from Glen Burnie High School (1955) and attended Anne Arundel Community College to study mechanical engineering.  He worked many years as a Mechanical Engineer at Maryland Dry dock in Baltimore.  He then became an entrepreneur establishing BestCo Sandblasting Co. and owner of the Lake Shore Tavern in Pasadena.

John loved people and many people loved him in return as he was an active member in his community.  He was an avid sportsman favoring fishing, billards, boating and hunting in all seasons.  His easy going nature, understanding, generosity and his fun-loving personality was a gift to many people.

John is survived by his four children Michele Shelton, Greg, Sherri and Debbi Hutson.  His 9 grandchildren (Mike and Ryan Edwards, Jenna and Riley Hutson, Brian Hafer, Kevin Schofield, Kayla, Genevieve and Woodrow Shelton, ).

John is also survived by his partner of many years, Frankie Geisbert and her 2 children Jeffrey and Dawn Geisbert and her grandchildren Noah, Sarah, Hannah and Jake.

John will be missed dearly by his family, friends and  community  whose lives he touch.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Friday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 AM. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery.
