John Quimby

John Quimby passed peacefully in his home on Thursday, March 9th. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sharon Quimby, daughters Michelle Strawderman (Husband Bill) and Heather Wright (husband Steve), grandchildren Ashley Leichling, Amanda Walter, RJ Riley, Samantha Wright, Steven Wright, Jr, and Daniel Wright, great grandchildren, Mason and Olivia Leichling, Frank and Ryan Walter, and Baylee and Ronald Riley. He is a retired school bus driver for Wilson’s Bus Co. of 17 years. John loved the water, boating, crabbing, fishing and was very fond of his turtles and his beloved “Hound Dog” Remy. He is also survived by his sister Shirley King, brother Raymond Horsman and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Madeline Horsemen, father Melvin Quimby and Sister Pam Zeigenfuse.

Family and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated McCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road (PASADENA) on Sunday and Monday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. Where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery.
