On November 14, 2013 John J. Thompson Sr., "JERRY" of Brooklyn Park. He was a former past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus MSR. Ripple Council #5370.
Beloved husband of Nancy A. Thompson (nee Brady). Loving father of John J. Thompson Jr., Susan A. Kettler, Edith A. T. (Edie) Hopla, Robert A. (Rob) Thompson Sr., and Steven A. Thompson Sr. Dearest brother of Robert A. (Bob) Thompson Sr., Loving grandfather of 18 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. John was also a 1952 graduate of Calvert Hall. He loved his family, trips to Ocean City, the Ravens and Orioles.
The family will receive friends at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME P.A., 237 E. Patapsco Ave., (Brooklyn) on Tuesday 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Athanasius Church on Wednesday at 11 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
