JOSEPH ANTHONY HARTMAN,JR. AGE 74 PASSED AWAY ON MAY 24, 2017 IN GLEN BURNIE, MARYLAND.


JOSEPH WAS BORN AND SPENT MOST OF HIS LIFE IN BALTIMORE CITY, MARYLAND. HIS PARENTS WERE JOSEPH ANTHONY HARTMAN, SR. AND MARIE ANTOINETTE HARTMAN. JOSEPH ATTENDED PATTERSON HIGH SCHOOL. HE MARRIED MARY LOU BENNER IN 1962. THEY HAD THREE CHILDREN AND WERE MARRIED 38 YEARS UNTIL HIS WIFE'S PASSING. JOSEPH WORKED AT GUNTHERS BREWERY WITH HIS FATHER. LATER IT BECAME HAMMS THEN SCHAEFFER BREWERY. HE ALSO HAD A LONG CAREER AS A TRUCK/TRACTOR TRAILER DRIVER AND OWNED HIS OWN RECYCLING BUSINESS. HE WORKED FOR 14 YEARS AS A DRIVER FOR THE UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE. HE RETIRED IN 2013 AT AGE 70. HE WAS KNOWN AS A VERY HARD WORKER. HE LATER MARRIED KRISTINE ANN HARTMAN IN 2012 AND BECAME A STEP-FATHER TO HER DAUGHTER. HE MOVED TO PASADENA, MARYLAND AND ENJOYED HIS RETIREMENT.
JOSEPH IS SURVIVED BY HIS DEVOTED WIFE KRISTINE. HIS CHILDREN THE LATE ALAN JOSEPH HARTMAN, DAWN MARIE MULQUEEEN, JENNIFER ELIZABETH GREVERA, AND EMILY LAUREN EVANS. HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS SISTER LEANORE RUSS AND HIS GRANDCHILDREN JOSEPH GENE GREVERA, HARLEY BETH GREVERA, ANDREW EISENHAUER MULQUEEN, BENJAMIN JOSEPH MULQUEEN AND THOMAS CARL PFARR III. HE IS ALSO SURVIVED BY A HOST OF RELATIVES AND FRIENDS.
JOSEPH IS PREDECEASED BY HIS PARENTS JOSEPH AND MARIE. HIS WIFE MARY LOU, AND SIBLINGS DOLORES DEHNE, JANET JIRSA, WILLIAM HARTMAN AND ROBERT HARTMAN. JOSEPH (JOE/SONNY) WAS A LOVING HUSBAND, FATHER AND GRANDFATHER. AS WELL AS SON, UNCLE AND FRIEND. HE LOVED FAMILY AND ENJOYED SPENDING TIME WITH THEM. HE WAS A BIG ANIMAL LOVER AND LOVED ALL ANIMALS AND WILDLIFE. HE WAS A FUN LOVING PERSON AND VERY LIKEABLE. HIS HOBBIES WERE FISHING, WOODWORKING, NATURE WALKS/WALKING HIS DOGS AND WATCHING COWBOY MOVIES.

FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE INVITED TO CALL AT THE FAMILY OWNED AND OPERATED McCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 MOUNTAIN ROAD (PASADENA) ON May 27, 2017 FROM 3-5 & 7-9 PM. WHERE FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD ON SUNDAY AT 3 PM. INTERMENT PRIVATE. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS A DONATION COULD BE MADE IN HIS NAME TO TWO OF HIS FAVORITE CHARITIES. ALLEY ANIMALS - P.O.
