Joseph Romanchak, Jr
September 11, 1967 - January 6, 2017
While resting and surrounded by a gathering of loved ones, Joey Romanchak (Joseph
Romanchak, Jr) passed away Friday evening, January 6th.
His spirit is carried on by his mother, Celeste Romanchak, four surviving siblings, five nieces
and nephews, three great-nieces and nephews in Maryland and an extended family of relations
in Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Florida.
All of his family and many, many close friends were blessed to learn valuable lessons from Joey
during his short 49 years among them. You can never have too much sauce on anything you
eat. You can never eat out too often at “the” yellow, red, green, bell or Eggcellence. You can
never listen to “the music” too much or go to “the movie” too many times. Coupon clipping is a
worthy endeavour. Taking long bubble baths are important (against the advice of your plumber).
Assisting your co-workers at Providence Center with your own special style of unsolicited
supervision and taking a few extra minutes to “clean your cleats” while up to bat for Special
Olympics adds to workplace cleanliness and team spirit. Share a tour of your favorite places
with friends. Fly to Hawaii (actually Florida or Ocean City) with Fathy as many times as you can.
Go shopping with Mom. Have a “party” every day and dance. Help others to understand and talk
with them. And always bring the smiles, “cheers” and much love to your family.
Joey is once again with his father, Joseph Romanchak Sr, and survived by his mother Celeste,
his sister Theresa and her husband Kevin, brother Charles and his wife Beth, step-mother
Natalie, sister Masha and brother Artem. Also survived by much loved nieces and nephews
Patrick, Jordan and her husband Andrew, John Mack, George and Samantha, with her husband
Sean. Great nieces and nephews Graham, Aria and Miles.
“Where” are we going? Wherever you want to go Joey, forever and ever. Amen. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in the name of Joseph Romanchak Jr. to The Providence Center 930 Point Pleasant Road Glen Burnie, Maryland 21060.
Family and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated McCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road (PASADENA) on Monday January 9, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday January 10, 2017 at 11 AM.
