Joseph Romanchak Sr, born February 24, 1939, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer. Joe was born in Fairbank, PA to Charles (Vasil) and Anna Romanchak (Kitick). He was the devoted husband of Natalie, and loving father of Artem, Masha, Charlie (Beth), Joseph Jr., and Theresa (Kevin) (Reville). Joe was the wonderful Poppy of Patrick, George, John Mack, Samantha (Gunther-Thomas), and Jordan (Romanchak-Natale), and great grandfather of Graham and Aria, and he was a faithful brother to Delores (Marmol), John, Mary Ann (Stephan), Mike, and George. Joe especially cherished time and activities with his family. He also enjoyed boating, gardening, working out, biking, listening to music, and spending time at the beach. Joe was a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and a dedicated radar engineer at Westinghouse for 35 years. He loved to share and teach his engineering skills in everyday life.
Family and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated McCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road (PASADENA) on Friday from 7-9PM. Where a prayer service will take place at 8PM. Mr. Romanchak will lie-in-state at Lake Shore Baptist Church 4613 Mountain Road (PASADENA) from 10-11AM on Saturday. A Celebration Of Life Service will be held at 11AM. Additional viewing will be held from 12-1PM. Interment Private.
