Joseph R. Ward, Jr.

Joseph Roland Ward Jr., age 67, of Pasadena, Maryland, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2024, after a courageous battle with dementia. Born on December 3, 1956, Joseph was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Mary, his two sons, Joseph the 3rd and Robert, their wives, Kelcey  and Jessica. Their five grandchildren; Ember, Wesley, Flint, Charlotte and Ashton who brought immense joy to his life.

An avid hunter and outdoorsman, Joseph found solace in nature and instilled a love for the outdoors in his family. He was proud to have spent his life alongside his high school sweetheart, sharing countless adventures and creating lasting memories.

Joseph will be remembered for his sense of humor, kindness, and unwavering dedication to his family. His legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

A memorial gathering will be held on November 1, 2024 from 10 AM until 2 PM at McCully Polyniak & Collins Funeral Home, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road Pasadena, Maryland 21122. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of the Chesapeake 90 Ritchie Highway Pasadena, Maryland 21122.
