Joyce Clocker

June 2, 1938 — July 3, 2017


On July 3, 2017, Joyce Carolyn Goodwin Clocker, of Pasadena, Maryland went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was the beloved wife of 60 years to Thomas Clocker, Sr.; devoted mother of Thomas R. Clocker II, Andrew R. Clocker, and Walter G. Clocker (and her beloved nephew Richard). She was the loving grandmother to ten grandchildren: Candace, Thomas III, Crista Taylor (Joshua), Jenica, Lucas, Casey, Timothy, Christopher, Mia, and Dana; and two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Olivia Taylor. She is survived by her sister Nancy Tando and brother, Ronald Goodwin. Joyce was born in Baltimore, MD on 6/2/38. She and husband Tom were well-known in the community as the owners and operators of Angel’s Food Market on Mountain Rd. Joyce was a founding member of Galilee Lutheran and very active in the church’s ministries, including the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. A celebration of her life in Christ will be held on Saturday, July 8th at 11 AM at Galilee Lutheran Church.
