Blum, On June 30, 2011, June (Nee Young) a Glen Burnie resident for over 10 years beloved wife of the late Francis Blum, longtime friend of Mike Miculinic of Glen Burnie, dear sister-in-law of Catherine Young of Pasadena, dear aunt of Susan Howard and Michael Young of Pasadena, dear great aunt of Heather Whewell of Severna Park. Also survived by many relatives and friends.
Ms. Blum was born on August 20, 1927 in Maryland to the late Samuel and Lillian Young and died in the St. Agnes Hospital on June 30, 2011. She was an assembler for Gordon Box Factory for over 20 years retiring in 1992. She was a member of the ladies auxiliary of the Military Order of the Purple Heart who enjoyed playing the slot machines, crocheting and going to Ocean City.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Wednesday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 12:00 Noon. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Military Order of the Purple Heart Service Foundation P.O. Box 49 Annandale, VA 22003.
