On February 21, 2011, KARL FREDERICK BALLWANZ JR., "CHARLIE" of Locust Point; beloved husband of Dolores Helen "DEL" Ballwanz (nee Miller); loving father of Linda Marie Shanahan, Karl Frederick Ballwanz III and JoAnn Barbara Best; dear brother of William Ballwanz, loving grandfather of Aimee, Erik, Jennifer, Rebecca, Timothy, Andrew, Elizabeth and great-grandchildren, Dylan, Cassidy, William Karl, Mattie, Erik Jr, Joseph and Emma; dearest uncle of Roland "Reese" Ballwanz; and other nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME P.A., 237 East Patapsco Avenue (Brooklyn) on Wednesday and Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. where services will be held on Friday at 11 AM. 29th Infantry Services will be held on Wednesday at 3:30 PM, Masonic Servies will be held on Thursday at 7 PM. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to Christ United Church of Christ, 1308 Beason St., Baltimore MD 21230.
