Katherine Sarah Shingles

Katherine (Kassie) Sarah Shingles passed away peacefully at home on November 18, 2023. Kassie is survived by her beloved husband, Richard Shingles; devoted mother of Anthony and Braden Mele; loving grandmother “G” of Anders and Gabriel Mele; dear sister of Ernie Amos, Millie Sebour and her husband Rich; Joe Amos and his life partner Krissy Anderson.

Everyone who met Kassie admired her beaming smile, passion and determination in all she did. In her work with the American Breast Cancer Foundation, she provided education, access, and financial assistance to aid in the early detection, treatment, and survival of breast cancer for underserved and uninsured individuals regardless of age, race, or gender. As manager of “Lights on the Bay”, her work on the annual holiday light show brought many smiles to the faces of children and adults alike.

She will be greatly missed and forever loved.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the family owned and operated MCCULLY POLYNIAK & COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Sunday, November 26, 2023, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. Where funeral services will be held on Monday, November 27, 2023, at 11 am. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
