Kessler, On August 17, 2010 Kathleen E. (Nee Bolander) beloved wife of the late Carlton E. Kessler, devoted mother of David D. and his wife Jacqueline Kessler of Lothian, Maryland, dear sister of Martha Boone of Ohio and Donald Bolander of Florida, loving grandmother of Debi Kessler-Smith of Silver Spring, Maryland and Daniel C. Kessler of Charleston, West Virginia, loving great-grandmother of Christopher Monnett of Florida, Michael Monnett of Florida and Markus Smith of Annapolis, Maryland, loving great-great grandmother of Alyssa Monnett of Florida and 1 great-great grandchild due March of 2011. Also survived by many relatives and friends.
Mrs. Kessler was born on March 31, 1923 in Ohio to the late Nelson and Lydia Bolander and died in the Baltimore-Washington Medical Center on August 17, 2010. She was a Glen Burnie, Maryland resident for 7 years. She was a homemaker who belonged to AARP, The Stoney Creek Democratic Club, she drove for the Florida Meals on Wheels program. She enjoyed making clothing for her family, was an avid reader of crime novels, an avid baker, she loved bingo, she enjoyed music from the 1930 and 40's. she enjoyed watching CSI, NCIS Law and Order and different mystery programs. She was the "CARD LADY" (Everyone she knew received a card from her) and was a wonderful caregiver.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 mountain Road PASADENA on Saturday, August 28, 2010 from 2 to 4 PM at which time a memorial service will be held. Interment in Crownsville Veterans Cemetery at a later date. In Lieu of Flowers contributions may be made to the American Heart Association P.O. Box 5216 Glen Allen, Virginia 23058-5216.
