On March 1, 2009 Kathryn E. (Nee Hitzelberger) beloved wife of the late Louis R. Kern, Sr and Donald S. Grief and devoted mother of Edward G. Kern and the late Louis R. Kern, Jr. and devoted stepmother of Donna Dunn and Ann Marie Filbert; devoted mother-in-law of Susan L. Kern and Patricia S. Kern; Special aunt of Betty Jane Derry and Kathleen Davis. Also survived by six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
The family will recieve friends at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 237 East Patapsco Avenue (BROOKLYN) on Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. Further viewing will take place on Thursday from 10 to 11 A.M. in the study of Christ Lutheran Church, 701 S. Charles Street. Funeral services will take place in the Church at 11 A.M. Interment Parkwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make memorial contributions in Mrs. Griefs name to Christ Lutheran Church Endowment Fund.
