Kathryn Steedman beloved mother of Jim, Bunnie, and Joyce Steedman, peacefully passed away in her home on April 18th. She was born on September 24, 1919 in Baltimore the last surviving of 4 siblings and lived in Hamilton marrying Jim Steedman October 2, 1942. They celebrated 50 years of blissful marriage until she lost Jim to cancer in 1993. She is survived by her son, Jim, daughter Bunnie and daughter-in-law Joyce as well as three grandsons, Jim, Jason and Jack Steedman.
Kathryn worked at Glen L Martin during World War II during which time her husband Jim had been seriously wounded serving with the army in Europe. She was a stay at home Mom until her children got older and she went to work at Black and Decker where she worked until her retirement in 1981.
She was a beautiful woman inside and out with a kind and gentle spirit. She will be sorely missed by all that knew her.
