July 17, 1966 — May 26, 2024

Kimberly Ann Jenkins (Hughes) born July 17, 1966, in Baltimore, Maryland passed away on May 26, 2024. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, nana, sister, aunt, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Kim, daughter of Kenneth and Jean Hughes, grew up in Glen Burnie, Maryland where she spent many years with her brother Randy and sister Teresa. She went on to complete cosmetology school and met her wonderful husband, Keith Jenkins. Kim was known for her infectious laughter and being the life of the party.

Kim loved her family more than anything in the world. She was a loving wife, a wonderful mother to her son CJ, and two daughters, Desiree and Courtney. Above all, Kim was a devoted Nana to six grandchildren- Kevin, Kennedy, Dawson, Drew, Rylee, and Dax. She enjoyed spending time with her family playing games, watching sporting events and movies on TV, and catching up over family meals.

Kim is preceded in death by her mother Jean Hughes and brother Randy Hughes. She is survived by her father Kenneth Hughes, sister Teresa Leet, loving husband Keith Jenkins, her three children, six grandchildren, sister-in-laws, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, and many other family members and friends.

Kim shows incredible bravery having made the decision to help others even after her lifetime. In the wake of such insurmountable grief, may her legacy live on in the lives of those she touched as a result of her organ donation.
