Kristi Corey

Kristi Lee Corey, 34, died July 12, 2016 with her family and friends by her side. She was born March 25, 1982 in Baltimore. Kristi spent her childhood growing in love and fun with her family and friends. She attended Riviera Beach Elementary, George Fox Middle and Northeast High School. During her school years she was active in the Pasadena Kadettes Band, Color Guard, Drama Club and Chorus.

She graduated from Villa Julie College (Stevenson) in 2004 and Goucher College in 2007. She was a teacher and loved her students and people she worked with at Brockbridge and Riviera Beach Elementary Schools, as well as those in the Summer Academy sites where she taught.

She was an active member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, and especially enjoyed singing with the church choir.

Her interests included family, friends, being with her students, watching movies, reading, listening to music and theater.

She is survived by her parents Sam and Kay Corey, her brother Scott Corey, her sister-in-law Lia, their children James and Alexis and her aunt Karen LeMoine, all of Pasadena.

She is also survived by her best friends Jessica Fyffe, Gloria Eichelman, Meredith Devereaux and their respective families.

Family and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated McCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road (PASADENA) on Friday July 15, 2016 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A memorial service will be held on Sunday July 24, 2016 at 9:30 AM at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church 7859 Tick Neck Road Pasadena, Maryland 21122. A burial will follow the service in the Church Memorial Garden. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Johns Hopkins Hospital in care of the Sidney-Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center 401 North Broadway Baltimore, Maryland 21287.
