On December 23, 2010 LAURA CREEL SHIMMEL (nee Hall), age 92, of Brooklyn Park, beloved wife of Milton C. Shimmel and the late Oliver Creel and Al Benner; loving mother of Russell James Creel, Sr. and Roy L. Creel; dearest sister of Albert S. Hall, Alma Eckert, Shirley Connley, and the late Vivian Crow, Norma Boyer, and J.D. Hall; loving grandmother of four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK Funeral Home P.A., 237 East Patapsco Avenue (Brooklyn) on Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM, where services will be held at 7 PM. Further visitation will be held at the Louis E. Rudolph Funeral Home, 15 Main St, Point Marion Pa. on Wednesday from 11 AM to 1 PM, at which time funeral services will be held. Interment following in the Friends of the Old Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to your favorite charity.
