On February 5, 2011, Lauretta Mary "RETS" Fallon (nee Betourne), 88 from Brooklyn Park, MD began her journey to heaven to reunite with her parents, Arthur Betourne and Lena Betourne Weeks. Rets was the wife of John J. Fallon, Sr with whom they had celebrated 62 years of marriage. She was beloved mother of Shawn Marie Fallon, John J. Fallon, Jr and his wife Donna; loving grandmother of Zachary Fallon, Sarah Parks, Fallon Struss, Joshua Fallon and Ryan Struss; dear sister to Flora Betourne, Bill Betourne , Leonia Kolinski, Grace Smith, Everett Weeks Jr along with her late sibblings: Arthur Betourne, Norman Betourne and Tony Betourne. Rets was a long-time member of the Lake Shore Democratic Club, Pasadena, Maryland with her best friend Bertha Blake. Her love of baking, especially her apple pies brought pleasure and enjoyment to her family and friends. Rets loved flowers and was expressed through her secret garden for her grandchildren. Your prayers will provide her family and friends comfort during this time.
The family will receive friends at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME P.A., 3204 Mountain Road, Pasadena, on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 AM. Interment in Glen Haven Memorial Park.
