Mr. Lester A. Davis Jr. went home to be with his heavenly Father on Wednesday November 29th 2017. Lester was born in Creswell, NC on April 30,1946 to the late Lester and Naomi Davis. He moved to Brooklyn, NY at an early age; after the death of his mother. He attended schools in Brooklyn, NY and Newark, NJ. He was employed with multiple truck companies as a truck driver until his health began to fail him. Lester was a loving and caring Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Uncle. He was always helping others whenever needed. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Lester leaves to cherish his memories his children; Naomi (Derrick) Jones, Delores Williams, Lester D. (Shentia) Williams, Charlene Davis, Stephanie Mitchell, Sarah (Steven) Copeland, Twonda Williams, Rubin Holliman, Diana Holliman, longtime friend Virginia Holliman, 26 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters; Beulah Payne, Audrey Moore, and Gurline Overton; 1 brother Chester Davis and a host of nieces, nephews and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Davis, mother Naomi Davis, father Lester Davis Sr., sisters Ester Smith and Rosie Cade, brother in laws James Smith, Peter Payne, Clarence Moore, Joseph Cade, James Overton, and sister in law Elsie Davis.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Thursday, December 7, 2017 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Where funeral services will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 1 PM. Interment Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.
