Biography

Haynie, Louis E., Jr. beloved husband of 60 years to Dorothy E. Haynie (Nee Chaney) devoted father of Mark W. Haynie and his wife Evelyn of Pasadena, Mary Lou Meredith and her husband Scott of Dagsboro, Del. Loving grandfather of Jessica M. Clemons , Lauren E. Haynie and Kristin N. Haynie, all of Pasadena, loving great-grandfather of Cameron M. Clemons of Pasadena.
Mr. Haynie was born in Maryland on June 26, 1932 to the late Louis E. Haynie, Sr. and Margaret Haynie and died on November 18, 2011 in the Coastal Hospice by the lake in Salisbury. He was a gas engineer for Constellation Energy for 42 years retiring in 1994. He served in the Marine Corp during the Korean War. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post 8296 in Ocean City, Evergreen Masonic Lodge 153, Tall Cedars and the Shriners. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, spending time with his family, golf and boating.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Sunday, November 27, 2011 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:30 AM. Interment Baltimore National Cemetery.
