Ltc William Floyd

LT. Col. William Charles Floyd, retired US Army, passed peacefully on February 9, 2017 @ 10:28 AM, at home with his wife and family by his side. Bill enlisted in the Navy during Vietnam (1967-1972). Bill joined the Army Officer Corp., as an anesthetist and served in the Army from 1978 to 2007, where he retired as a LT. COL. Bill is a graduate of City College of Baltimore,Towson University and University of NY at Buffalo. He is survived by his wife of 28 yrs.,Joyce J Floyd, his siblings, Nancy A. Maloney, Mark A. Floyd, Trace A. Floyd, Dennis J.Floyd,and Gary W. Floyd; and nephew to Uncle Joseph and Aunt Gail Sawicki.
Viewing for family and friends will be held at the McCully-Polyniak Funeral Home P.A., 237 E. Patapsco Ave, (Brooklyn) Md. 21225, on Sunday, February 12th, from 3-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Athanasius Roman Catholic Church, 4708 Prudence St, Curtis Bay, Md. 21226, on Monday at 10 AM.
