Ltc William Floyd

January 27, 1947 — February 9, 2017

LT. Col. William Charles Floyd, retired US Army, passed peacefully on February 9, 2017 @ 10:28  AM,  at home with his wife and family by his side. Bill enlisted in the Navy during Vietnam (1967-1972). Bill joined the Army Officer Corp.,  as an anesthetist and served in the Army from 1978 to 2007, where  he retired as a LT. COL. Bill is a graduate of City College of Baltimore,Towson University and University of NY at Buffalo.  He is survived by his wife of 28 yrs.,Joyce J Floyd, his siblings,  Nancy A. Maloney, Mark A. Floyd, Trace A. Floyd, Dennis J.Floyd,and Gary W. Floyd; and nephew to Uncle Joseph and Aunt Gail Sawicki.

Viewing for family and friends will be held at the McCully-Polyniak Funeral Home P.A., 237 E. Patapsco Ave, (Brooklyn) Md.  21225, on Sunday,  February 12th, from 3-8 PM. A  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in  St. Athanasius Roman Catholic Church,  4708 Prudence St,  Curtis Bay, Md. 21226,  on Monday at 10 AM.  Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, immediately following, with Full Military Honors.
