Surrounded by her loving family, in her Pasadena home, Lucy Mae Beall peacefully departed this life on January 11, 2020. Lucy was born on December 10, 1939, in West Virginia, to the late Cleo Helmick and W. Harman Scott. She spent over 50 years working as a cosmetologist in several salons, including operating her home beauty shop and teaching cosmetology classes at several schools in Maryland. Lucy enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, gardening, baking, assembling puzzles, camping, and collecting shells on the beach. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Lucy will be fondly remembered for her immense kindness, giving nature, and her unwavering faith in God. She was preceded in death by her precious son, Georgie, and her treasured sister, Janice. She is survived by her devoted husband of 62 years, George; her brothers Billy and Steven; her sister Juanita; her loving daughter, Brenda, and son-in law, David; her cherished grandchildren, Candace (fiancé – Adam), Deanna (fiancé – Chris), Dustin, Chad, and Christian; her beloved great-grandchildren Trinity, Kyden, and Malia; her dear nieces Janice and Kim; and many great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors at the family owned and operated McCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P,A, 3204 Mountain Road Pasadena, Maryland 21122 on Tuesday, January 14, 2019 from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM. A celebration of Lucy’s life will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 11:00 AM. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park 7231 Ritchie Hwy Glen Burnie, Maryland 21061.
