I was born on February 17, 1994, to my wonderful mom, Denise. I think I was a cute baby, if I must say so myself. I remember the first time I opened my eyes and saw my beautiful mommy and next to her were my mom mom and pop pop, Mary and Bob Widmer. I also found out I had an Aunt Dawn and Uncle Bobby along with many great aunts, uncles, and cousins. I was a great baby filling them with smiles, excitement, and pride. As a family we did everything together and enjoyed every minute of life.
I remember my first school bus ride, I was nervous but also excited to ride that big yellow bus. I looked back at my mom, mom mom, and pop pop and they all had tears in their eyes. Why weren’t they excited like me, I asked myself. Throughout my years of school, those three wonderful people were always there to support me - parents day, grand-parents day, dance recitals, plays, you name it and I did it and they were always there.
When I was about 12 years old I was so happy when I got my wonderful step-father, Chris. I inherited a whole new family - more grandparents, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, and cousins. What a change in my life!
I attended St. Jane Frances and Chesapeake High schools and had many friends. I dated several boys, but it was not until I met James Hammen that I found the “Love of my Life.” He is everything to me and together we had a tremendous child, a beautiful little girl, Ellyanna Hammen, born on May 12, 2014. She reminds me so much of myself as a child: cute as a cucumber, funny, smart and a personality that attaches itself to you on first contact.
I loved all these things but life has many rough roads to travel, and I found a few along the way. Please do not be mad at me for anything I did in the past or the last couple days - forgive me, but don’t forget me. I am blessed to have had you all and I am at peace now. I love you all and will miss you from the bottom of my heart . Thanks for being there for me, and I will love you forever and ever!
Macey
