I find it difficult to put this family’s loss into the written word. All of the family and dear friends will have to learn how to live without the physical presence of this most remarkable man. He was our father and patriarch, and loved by all who have ever known him. I believe he died content knowing how proud his family was of him.
Mickey lives on through his descendants, passing the stories of his life down through the generations to come. That is how he will have immortality.
When death comes to me as it comes for us all, I hope that I can die knowing that I’ve achieved some of what he had in abundance. And that is wisdom. That was his gift to us. We will take it and carry forth the best we can.
Our father was Mickey Frazier. He was born in Ashland, Ky. in 1939. Even though he moved to Baltimore when he was just a young boy much of his character and beliefs were defined by where he came from. That is, be proud of who you are, fight for what you believe in, and always be willing to help your fellow man. He is survived by his beloved wife Joyce, who has been his loyal and devoted companion since 1957. They bore three children and many grandchildren. He would want us to carry on despite this great loss with the business of living, but there will be not one day that goes by that he is not only remembered, but celebrated.
Relatives and friends may gather at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 237 East Patapsco Avenue (BROOKLYN) On Saturday, August 9, 2014 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.
