Adams, Margaret M. (nee Riordan) a resident of the Charlestown Retirement Community for 9 years and formerly of Pasadena .Beloved wife of the late Jack C. Adams. Loving mother to Susan Adams--Harmon and her husband Dick of York, PA. and Clark Adams, Sr. and his wife Sharon of Pasadena. Dear sister of Edward Riordan, Mildred Smith and Joan Boyd. Preceded in death by her sisters Marie Davis, Catherine Wantz, Mary Frances Holman, Eleanor Shepley and a brother William Riordan. Devoted grandmother of Becky, John, Clark, Kate and Laura and great grandmother of Sarah, Faith, Lily, Eric, Addison, Cameron and Mackenzie. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Margaret was born in in Libertytown, MD on July 28, 1919 and died on July 26, 2012. She moved to Charlestown in 2003 and enjoyed volunteering at the Treasure Sales and serving as a Eucharistic Minister. One of her favorite pastimes has always been reading books of all kinds. She also enjoyed doing word puzzles and collecting teapots.
Family will receive friends at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road (PASADENA) on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Further visitation will take place in Our Lady of the Angels Chapel 711 Maiden Choice Lane Catonsville, MD. 21228 (Charlestown Retirement Community) on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. at which time a Funeral Mass will be celebrated.
