Margaret Sokolis
March 3, 1933 — December 19, 2016
Margaret Marie Sokolis, 83, passed away peacefully on December 19. She was born on March 3, 1933 to Frederick Kastel and Cecilia D. Lovell in Baltimore, Maryland. Her love and dedication to our state was a lifelong passion. From the age of 18 until retirement, Margaret served our local government in various facets. Margaret will be remembered for her vast knowledge of family history, love for her family, and her affinity for Elvis Presley and reality television.
She is survived by her son, Mark, his wife Patricia; her two grandchildren, Randall and Terrysa; and several great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Constantine, and two sons, Randall and Terry.
Friends are invited to celebrate Margaret's life on Monday December 26, 2016 at the family owned and operated McCully-Polyniak Funeral Home, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road (PASADENA) from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday December 27, 2016 at 10 AM at St. Jane Francis Catholic Church 8499 Virginia Avenue (PASADENA). Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
