Mark Christopher Frost, 55, died peacefully on Saturday, Jan 25, 2014 at his home in Pasadena, MD.
Born to Margaret and Walter Frost, Mark was raised in Niagara Falls, NY, Tarpon Springs, FL, and Mobile, AL. He graduated from the United States Naval Academy (USNA '82) and the Naval Nuclear Power School. He served aboard the Navy Nuclear Guided Missile Cruiser USS VIRGINIA, CGN-38.
Mark married his college sweetheart, Kathleen Marie Farnett in 1984 and had two beautiful daughters, Maggie Marie Frost and Rachael Elizabeth Frost. Mark was a beloved and devoted husband and proud father. After military service, he taught middle and high school math at his daughters' school, Foundation Christian Academy in Valrico, FL. He had boundless energy and a sincere devotion to young people, but most of all, Mark loved God. In the midst of all the sorrow, Mark remained strong in his faith throughout his two year battle with cancer.
Mark is survived by his wife, two daughters, brother Jeffrey Frost and wife Patricia Frost, and brother Thomas Frost and wife Sheri Frost.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate the life of Mark Frost will be held at Grace Baptist Church of Sunset Beach, 17 Somerset Road, Pasadena, MD 21122 on Wednesday, Jan 29th at 10AM.
