Mark Hauck

February 7, 1968 — March 21, 2016

After a courageous bout with cancer, Mark Bryan Hauck, 48, of Pasadena, Maryland passed away peacefully on Monday, March 21, 2016. He was at home with his wife, Sandy (Tolson), daughters, Hannah & Lindsay, and mother, Mary Patricia Righter (Birmingham), at his side. He was born the youngest of three children to Mary Patricia and the late William Hauck on February 7, 1968.
Mark grew up in Glen Burnie and graduated from Archbishop Spalding High School in 1986. He began working for BGE at the age of 22, worked his way up eventually finishing his career as a well respected senior sub-station mechanic. In April 1997, he and Sandy married and they welcomed their beautiful twins, Hannah & Lindsay, to the world in April 2000. Mark was always willing to share his good spirited humor and viewpoint with his family and friends. He enjoyed going on trips to the beach, working out at the gym, watching Ravens football, customizing his Jeep, playing with his beloved black lab, Bogie (and the late Maggie & Rambo before him) and listening to his favorite "hair" band music.
In addition to his wife, daughters and mother, Mark is survived by his brother, Bill, and sister, Kim Cunningham, and many other relatives. Son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, friend, neighbor, co-worker - Mark was all these things and more. But loving husband and father is at the top of the list. He was a proud, hardworking provider for his family. He will be dearly missed.

A funeral mass will be celebrated 10:30am on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Our Lady of the Chesapeake in Pasadena, Maryland. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mark's name to Hospice of the Chesapeake, Attn: Philanthropy Department, 90 Ritchie Highway, Pasadena, MD 21122.
