BAUMANN, On July 5, 2010 Mary M. ( Nee Slagle) of South Baltimore and Brooklyn died at the age of 92.
She was the beloved wife for 67 years of John L. Baumann who preceded her in death on November 8, 2009.
Madeline was a faithful member of Salem Lutheran Church in South Baltimore. For many years right up to her death, she crocheted hundreds of lap robes for the church to donate to nursing home residents.
She enjoyed being a homemaker and loved baking countless number of cakes for her Church's bake sales. When she became to frail to attend Church she continued to generously support her Church.
She is survived by her devoted brother Rob Plaine and wife Lynn and was a cherished aunt of Dale Bennett, Betty Jane Weibe, Michael and Jimmy DeLauder, Rob Plaine and wife Rhonda and Julie Strain and husband Chris.
She will be missed also by many loving great-nieces and nephews and a younger sister Gloria Hastings.
Madeline was preceded in death by her two sisters Myrtle Virgin and Margaret Gaulding.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road. (PASADENA) on Thursday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 AM. Interment Crownsville Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
