(Nee Taylor) beloved wife of the late Landis Thompson, Sr. and Joseph Klein, devoted mother of Landis Thompson, Jr. of Pasadena and his wife Elva, Charlene Smelser of Pasadena and her husband the late Charles and Linda G. Shephard of Orchard Beach and her husband Ralph, dear sister of the late Pete Taylor. Loving companion of Edwin Michael of Essex. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Klein was born in Maryland on September 15, 1920 to the late Alfred and Theresa Taylor and died in the Baltimore-Washington Medical Center of May 25, 2011. Mrs. Klein was the Owner of Thompson Grocery Store in Orchard Beach for 26 years before retiring in 1976. She was a member of St. Jane Frances Church, The Stoney Creek Democratic Club and the Poplar Ridge Senior Center who enjoyed Word Finder books, playing cards, bingo, dancing, parties, spending time with her family and watching Joel Osteen on TV. on Sunday's
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 mountain Road PASADENA on Sunday and Monday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the St. Jane Frances Church (8499 Virginia Avenue, Pasadena) on Tuesday at 10 AM. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
