Mary Lynn Quinn

October 2, 1957 – March 10, 2022

Mary Lynn Quinn passed away on March 10th, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer.  She joins her parents, brothers, and sisters in heaven at the age of 64 years young.

She was born on October 2, 1957 to Paul and Mary Braun in Baltimore, Maryland.  She married the love of her life James Quinn in 1979.  Together, they raised their children, Christopher and Rachel, with love and kindness on Kent Island.

Mary Lynn adored her grandchildren.  Blake, Kennedi, Harper, and Connor all called her Mom-mom (pronounced mum-mum), and Mom-mom treasured time spent with them.  Mary Lynn enjoyed spending time with her daughter and sisters shopping.  Mary Lynn also enjoyed going to the casino with her sisters and husband where her ESP senses would lead her to machines of choice in hopes of good luck.  Her favorite place to visit was the beach, where she enjoyed playing in the ocean with grandchildren and board games with her family.  Mary Lynn loved her gardens and flowers and Jim helped in adorning them just the way she wanted.  She will be remembered by all as the grand hostess of summer weekend crab feasts at her Eastern Shore home where all were invited, and smiles and laughs were required.   True to her Baltimore roots, she called those closest to her “Hon”, which we will miss hearing dearly.

Family and friends are invited to visit the family and attend the service at the family owned and operated McCully-Polyniak Funeral Home, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road Pasadena, Maryland 21122 on Friday, March 18th from 1-4 p.m.  Funeral service will begin at 3:30 p.m.
