Wirth, On April 27, 2010 Mary Rachel Wirth, beloved wife of the late Harrison O. Wirth, devoted mother of sons Harrison Frederick Wirth and his wife Lucy Jo, Richard Jones Wirth and his wife Jeanne, William Donald Wirth and his wife Marlene, peacefully departed. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was 95; a retired Registed nurse who persevered from very humble origins too assure her family was cared for and well prepared to meet life's challenges. She was always there as a trusted listener, mentor, or just being a Granny, for any member of the family when they wanted to speak privately, or to express their inner most thoughts and feelings. She worked so well as a life-long partner with her beloved husband of over 55 years. She remained a source of knowledge, determination, will, and character until the very earthly end. She enjoyed watching T.V., Knitting, crocheting and quiltting until arthritis impeded her ability. She took great pride in giving these items to her family.
Viewing and services will be held in a private ceremony at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA. The family is well aware of those who cared and respected her and encourages only a kind personal moment of thought or prayer, a remembrance to the church, organization or the charity of your choice in her name.
