Maurice Lawson

Maurice James Lawson "MJ" widower to the late Jane Lawson, father to Colman Lawson of Shadyside MD, Jane Milicker of Pasadena, Thomas Lawson of Centreville and Valerie Jackson of Shadyside MD. He is survived by William "Billy" Lawson of Edgewater and the late Mary Ann Green, Nancy Lawson, Baby Lawson, Sonny Lawson, and Betty Lee Estep. He was the loving grandfather to 14 grandchildren. Mj was born in Calvert county in 1941 to the late John Edward Lawson and Ellsie Moreland. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, yard work and was an avid NASCAR fan. He worked as a foreman for Asplundh tree service for many years then went on to be the founder of Lawson Tree Service which is still in business. Maurice Lawson passed away in his sleep after a brief illness.
