Missy was born to John and Lauren Atkinson in Baltimore, MD.
Missy was a loving sister, daughter, granddaughter, niece, aunt, cousin, mom to her kitties, and friend! Missy was a caregiver for most of her life. She had a heart of gold and would give the shirt off of her back for anyone that needed it! She loved the game of football, Watching her Ravens play was when she was the happiest! She loved smores, her kitties, Reece's pieces Sunday's from friendly's and snowballs! She left her home in Tacoma, WA to take on the very difficult task of caring for her grandmother and great aunt! She may have gotten stressed at times, caregiving is a difficult task, but she wanted to be the one to do this because that is just the person she was! I have heard stories since her death of wonderful things that she did for so many, not even knowing them, but soon becoming friends! It warms our hearts to know she was loved and cherished by so many! Missy, heaven got a great addition, even though we are sad to not have you here with us, we can find some comfort in knowing that we have another guardian angel forever looking out for us!
She is survived by her father John Atkinson, his wife Janet, sisters, Michelle Delgado, Vickie Mazotas, Renee Abrahamson, Brandy Williams, Victoria Jenkins, Janah Cabigas and niece and nephews Andrew, Shawn Jr, Tristan, Gracie, Nicholas, and Christopher! She is also survived by a large loving family and many friends! She was preceded in death by her mother Lauren Anderton and grandfather Ernest Atkinson!

Family and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated McCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road (PASADENA) on Sunday February 14, 2016 from 3-5 & 7-9PM. Where a funeral service will be held on Monday February 15, 2016 at 9:30AM. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
