Mildred Brosseau

Mildred Lois Brosseau,”Millie”, of Severna Park, passed away peacefully in her home with her family by her side on January 1, 2022.
She was the loving wife of the late Robert P. Brosseau; devoted mother of Lewis E. Proffitt, Charles A. Brosseau, the late Ronald D. Proffitt and the late Gypsy Gail Proffitt; dear grandmother of Traci Schecodnic, Eddie Proffitt, Michael Brubaker, Sara Rinta, Brian Brosseau and Jeremy Brosseau; great- grandmother of 5, and 1 great-great grandson.
Millie was born on August 3,1929 in Toledo, Ohio. She was raised in Hiawatha, West Virginia and known as “Middie” in her youth. She moved to Baltimore in 1956, and finally settled in Severna Park in 1960. Millie worked as a Cosmetologist designing, styling wigs and selling cosmetics, for many years. She was very gifted vocally ,and would often be heard happily singing while going about her routine...day or night. She briefly sang with the Arundelaires Sweet Adeline Barbershop Chorus. She loved poetry and would delight her friends by reciting long poems from memory. She also had a wonderful green thumb, and especially enjoyed houseplants and flowers. She would spend countless hours in her yard cleaning it up and tending to her garden. Her favorite thing however, was to be with her family and friends.  She was a devout member of the Trinity Bible Church, attending services and functions regularly until health issues later in her life made it difficult to do so. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated McCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road Pasadena, Maryland 21122 on Monday January 17,2022 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. Where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday January 18,2022 at 11:30 AM. Interment Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.
