Life Legacy

Mildred Jean Wires on May 14, 2013. Mildred was preceded in death by loving husband Albert Wires and son James Wires. She is survived by son Joseph Wires and wife Penny, daughter Sylvia Babb and husband Jim, daughter Jeane Olson and husband Gary, daughter Gail Ciesielski and husband John and daughter in laws Leslie Wires and Linda Wires. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren. Mildred served in the Army Nurse Corps from 1944 to 1946. She was a 2nd Lieutenant during World War II, and also served for a time in France. She also enjoyed quilting and reading.
Family and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated McCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. (Pasadena), on Thursday May 16, 2013 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. A funeral mass will take place on Friday May 17, 2013 at Saint Jane Frances Church 8499 Virginia Avenue Pasadena, Maryland 21122 at 10AM. Interment to follow at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Mildred Wires name to Hospice of the Chesapeake 445 Defense Highway Annapolis, Maryland 21401.
