Miriam E. Pagano

 Mrs. Miriam E. Pagano (Smith) passed away on the 28th of September 2024. She was 90 years old. She is survived by a daughter, two sons, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

 Miriam was born on the 31st of May 1934 in South Baltimore’s John Hopkins hospital. She is part of the Scherholz sporting family of Baltimore’s Basketball Hall of fame notoriety. She graduated from Patterson Park High School where she was an athlete in her own right playing softball and basketball.

 She married Frank N. Pagano of Barnesboro Pennsylvania on the 13th of June 1953. They moved from the city to Brooklyn Park in 1956 where she raised her family and resided until 2022 moving to Virginia to be closer to her daughter.

 She loved to gather with family and friends and her world famous “barbecue” was always in demand. 

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the family owned and operated MCCULLY POLYNIAK & COLLINS FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Sunday, October 20, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Where funeral services will be held on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 11:00 am. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.
