Nancy Czach

Nancy Patricia Czach was born on September 6, 1955, to Frank Decker and Anne Arakelian Decker.  She was born and raised in Pennsylvania with one sister, Zabel Decker.  Nancy married Joseph F. Czach, traveled, and had four children: Joseph J. Czach, Sarah A. Kivett, Michael F. Czach, and Samantha E. Johnson.  In 1980, Nancy and Joseph became residents of Pasadena, Maryland where Nancy spent her days as mom and her evenings managing a growing family.  She never missed a practice, a game, a play, or an opportunity to help her children get involved in the community.  Nancy was a dedicated wife and committed partner to her husband.  As her children grew, so did Nancy.  She decided to pursue employment outside of the house and worked various customer service-related jobs.

In 1993, Nancy’s family moved to Madison, Alabama, but returned to Pasadena, Maryland with her husband and their youngest child, Samantha in 2001.  Shortly after this move, Nancy found her true passion in life – working with children.  In 2005, Nancy started working at Chesapeake High School and continued her employment for 16 years.  She loved giving back to the community and loved the daily interaction with students and staff.

As Nancy was busy working, her family was busy growing.  Nancy is survived by Joseph F. Czach (husband), Joseph J. Czach (son), Sarah A. Kivett (daughter), Peter H. Kivett (son-in-law), Michael F. Czach (son), Shelley Czach (daughter-in-law), Samantha E. Johnson (daughter), Jason Johnson (son-in-law), and the following grandchildren: Elizabeth Mezan, Dylan Kivett, Jillian Mezan, Carter Kivett, Gavin Czach, Jason C. Johnson Jr., Isabella Johnson, Landen Johnson, and Jethro Johnson.  Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Anne Decker.
