Nancy Lee Everley, a loving caretaker and devoted mother, passed away suddenly on March 21, 2025, in Glen Burnie, Maryland. Born on July 12, 1944, in Maryland, Nancy lived a life rich in love and commitment to her family, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished by all who knew her.

With a heart as vast as the sky, Nancy’s greatest pride came from raising her six children— the late Gloria Sue Barnes, Helen Short, Donna Muir, Anna McCarty, Brenda Fox, and Larnie Barnes. Each child carries a piece of her spirit, and her influence echoes through their lives and the lives of her 15 grandchildren. In addition to her beloved grandchildren, she is also survived by many great-grandchildren whose laughter and joy she embraced wholeheartedly.

Nancy shared a special bond with her twin sister, her other half who made her whole, Carol Ann Hart, and her other siblings, Donna D'alessio and Rodney Horkey. She was preceded in death by her siblings Jimmy, Basheba, Frank, Frannie, David and Marie. They forged a connection over the years that treasured family gatherings and created lasting memories. She was a remarkable daughter, sister, and friend, having touched countless lives with her loving nature and heartwarming spirit.

A woman of few interests, Nancy embraced life with a passion for dancing and the comforts that came with family gatherings. Smoking and sharing stories with those she loved became synonymous with her joyful spirit.
