Olivia Reinecke

Olivia Melody Reinecke, 63, of Pasadena, MD passed away Monday at Hospice of the Chesapeake with family by her side.
Liv graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with a Masters in Applied Mathematics. She worked at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory in Colombia Maryland for over 35 years. Upon retirement, Liv was a Director and Lead Engineer, concentrating on the NATO Sea Sparrow project.
Liv enjoyed playing billiards and won several awards on her pool league. She also enjoyed gardening and most of all, playing with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her three children, Melody Gallipeau (Robert III), Shannon Reinecke and Alexander Langfield and three grandchildren, Madeleine, Robert "Bo" IV and Gunnar Gallipeau as well as three cousins who were more like siblings, Walter Lucke, Anna Young (George) and Eva Barber (Bill).
Gathering hours will be held at the family owned and operated McCully-Polyniak Funeral Home, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122 on Friday, June 2nd from 12-3pm at which time a service will take place. Burial will be private .Memorial donations may be made to The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
