FRANCIS, Patricia J. (Reed), age 80, of Baltimore passed away early Friday Morning, July 30, 2010 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Patty was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Brooklyn, Maryland. She was retired from the Motor Vehicle Administration of Maryland as an accountant after 25 years of service. Patty was an avid bowler, enjoyed crocheting, ceramics and visiting with her friends. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Patty was preceded in death by her husbands William (Bill) Francis and Frank Gatton; sons William Keith Francis, Sr.; parents, Sherman and Hazel Reed; sister, Frances Grayson. Patty is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Peggy Francis of Knoxville, TN; granddaughters, Tammy Lynn Olson and husband, Billy of Florida, Victoria Francis Cannon of Maryland, Katherine Medicus and husband Mike of Tennessee, Meghann K. Walsh of Maryland; grandsons, William K. Francis, Jr., Andrew Francis, Paul Francis all of Maryland; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter; brothers, Lester Sherman Reed of Florida and Chester Lewis Reed and wife, Barbara of New York, several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 237 East Patapsco Avenue on Tuesday from 2:00 to 3:45 PM with a Funeral service to follow at 4:00 PM with the Rev. Neil O,Farrell officiating. Family and friends will gather at 9 AM on Wednesday at the Glen Haven Memorial Park Cemetery in Glen Burnie, Maryland for interment services.
