Ralph Michael Scott, better known as Mike, crossed over into eternity, December 25, 2017, at the age of 74 from congestive heart failure in his Pasadena MD home with his loving wife Lorraine by his side.
He was born in Baltimore City, Maryland on October 12, 1943 to Ralph Donald Scott and Catherine Jane Kelly Scott.
After receiving his High School equivalent, Mike joined the United States Navy and served on the USS Columbus during 1962-1966 with a short tour in Vietnam. After the military, Mike began working at Wang Laboratory, ESSI.
Mike enjoyed coaching softball. He was a big fan of his home teams the Baltimore Orioles and the Ravens.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Ralph; mother, Catherine; and three siblings Mary, Judy, and Jim. Mike leaves behind Mary Lorraine (Pylant) Scott, his wife of 22 years; two sons William and Patrick and a daughter Tina; a granddaughter, Mary Docherty; and his brother William (Billy) and sisters Patty, Tara, and Tanya. He will also be missed by his pets Baby Girl (dog) and Sparkle the cat.
Funeral and visitation services for Ralph (Mike) Scott will be held at McCully Polyniak Funeral Home in Pasadena, Md. Visitation will be held Friday, January 5, 2018 from 3pm-5pm and 7pm-9pm. Prayer service will be Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 11am.
In lieu of flowers please make a memorial donation to the Maryland SPCA or the Disabled American Veterans Association.
