Rene Demers

Rene Joseph Demers of Glen Burnie, Maryland passed away on March 12, 2020. He was born in Lawrence, MA on January 6, 1934. Rene is survived by his wife of 66 years (May 8), Virginia Demers; his sons Jimmy (Patricia) and Dan (Alicia); 4 grandchildren Troy (Katie), Ryan (Ashlie), Miranda and Chad; 3 great-grandchildren Addie, Jack and Max.

Rene served 4 years in the United States Navy. After the Navy he worked for Western Electric, Colony Credit, owned a Mr. Donut and worked sales at Koons Ford. He loved camping, boating and following the Stock Market.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 20, 2020 at Downs Park in Pasadena, Maryland, at the Fernwood Pavilion at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in his honor to Puppies Behind Bars (link provided below)
