REVA MASON, 80

Reva Joyce Mason (nee Collins) passed away at her home in Glen Burnie, Maryland, on October 12, 2015.
Reva was born at home in Tennessee in June of 1935 and moved at an early age to Baltimore, Maryland, where she became involved with the Salvation Army. She went to high school at Southern #70 where she played the coronet for the high school band before leaving in her senior year to begin her life with Michael in June 1953. Reva renewed her wedding vows with Mike in 2013, six decades later. Education was important to Reva, so she later studied on her own and received her high school equivalency diploma. She was a member of The Merry Makers Club of South Baltimore and the Veterans of Foriegn Wars Ladies Auxilliary where she held numerous positions throughout time. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, crafts, movies, games of all types - including slot games, and above all else she dedicated herself to her loving husband and children.
Reva was the beloved wife of Michael J Mason Sr, her husband of 62 years, the mother of Connie J Rolf, the grandmother of Monica Mason, Michael Mason, Dennis (DJ) Mason, Michelle Mason, James Rolf Jr, and Jennifer Kolodziejski, the sister of Iva Boyd, and she had numerous nieces, nephews, and fourteen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved sons Michael J Mason Jr, Dennis R Mason, her parents Roy A and Dora Collins, her brother Charles Collins, her sister Glenna Cuffley, and nieces Catherine Cuffley-Brown and Donna Cuffley.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Friday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Where funeral services will be held on Saturday at  9:00  AM with Lt. Colonel Esther Sands Satterlee, a dear friend and an Officer of the Salvation Army, officiating. A short grave side service will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Hospice of the Chesapeake for their support in Reva's final days.
