Richard Michocki, 82, (son of the late Hazel D. (nee Jordan) and Edward J. Michocki) died peacefully at The Johns Hopkins Hospital on Wednesday, December 28, 2016. A native of Baltimore City, he attended Southern High School, Class of 1953, where he played lacrosse and football. Served as a Military Police officer in the United States Army, and spent his civilian career working in the steel industry, before retiring to Ocean Pines, MD. He was an avid golfer and active member of the Ocean City, MD
Elks Lodge #2645.
Beloved husband of 58 years to Marlene M. (nee Pajak), loving father of Sandra L. Michocki, devoted brother of Karen E. Michocki, and a dear brother in-law, cousin, uncle, and friend to many.
He requested that his body be donated to the Maryland Anatomy Board for educational study programs to medical students at The Johns Hopkins University Medical School. Following cremation, his ashes will be interred at a dedicated gravesite in Sykesville, Maryland during the 2018 annual memorial service.
