Richard (Richie) D. Suller Jr.
October 12, 1982 – August 29, 2024
Richie was born in Baltimore on October 12, 1982, and passed away on August 29, 2024, with his family by his side, and after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
He had a happy and active childhood. He played baseball in the Lakeshore league and football for the Buccaneers at Fort Smallwood. During his early teens he took an interest in dirt bikes, and joined AMA and the MAMA racing circuits at Budds Creek and hit the road for motorcross racing most weekends for several years. He loved racing and won several trophies.
As he grew older, he became a true enthusiast for all things nature and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Two of his favorite past times were spending time at the family property on the mountain in western Maryland and spending time at the Outer Banks in North Carolina where he made many friends.
Richie worked in the family business for many years until he moved on to construction where he learned to operate all types of heavy equipment. Later, he found his passion, completed his welding certificates and worked for various welding companies as he was becoming more skilled in his trade. Eventually he found his home at Reedbird Steel in Odenton in 2019 where he was employed until his passing.
Some of his most notable characteristics were his broad knowledge of facts and his love for his country.
He is survived by both his parents, his mother Joni Brunner-Suller and father Richard Suller Sr., his brother Joshua Suller, and sister Brittany Suller-Mack and her husband Kris Mack and his niece, the apple of his eye Willow Grace Mack and nephew Walker Mack all of Pasadena.
