It is with utmost sadness that we announce the passing of Robert (Bobby) James DeNuto, 27, of Pasadena, Maryland, on November 28th, 2023.
Bobby was the youngest of 3, born to John and Rene’ DeNuto on January 25th, 1996, in Warren, Ohio. His family moved to Pasadena in 2001, where Bobby was very involved in Boy Scouts – he enjoyed camping and whitewater rafting and rose to the rank of a Life Scout. Many of Bobby’s closest friends were the same ones he made during his first years in Scouts. Bobby attended Chesapeake High School and was an active member of the marching band, where he took on the role of Drum Major during his Senior year. Bobby graduated from Chesapeake in 2014.
Bobby started working at Northrop Grumman in 2020 as a Drafter, providing valuable knowledge and support that his colleagues relied on. Bobby was a skilled Modeler/Detailer and source of knowledge and expertise, always willing to pitch in for any project across all departments.
Bobby was a kind and thoughtful young man, a great friend to many, and had a heart of gold. Bobby was the kind of friend many seek: accepting, never judgmental, and always willing to help or listen when you needed him while expecting nothing in return. His loss is keenly felt by many.
Bobby was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Robert E. DeNuto Sr. and Francis James Miller. Bobby is survived by his grandmothers, Dorothy Miller and Jacqueline DeNuto, his parents, John and Rene’, and siblings Anthony (Bethany) DeNuto and Kaylie (Nicholas) Weinstein, two nieces, and one nephew.
The DeNuto family will hold a service and wake to mourn his passing and celebrate our memories of Bobby on January 20th, 2024. Family and friends will gather at McCully Polyniak and Collins Funeral Home, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA from 12:00 to 2:00 pm. A Memorial service will be held at 2 pm. followed by a wake at The Ferndale Community Club at 3:30 PM.
