Life Legacy

Robert Bruce Cleland aged 67 of Pasadena Maryland peacefully passed Sunday August 18th 2013 at John's Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore Maryland.
He was born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, August 19 1945, the second son of Robert and Nancy Cleland. He had three siblings; Challiss McKinley, Harry Cleland (deceased), and David Cleland.
Bruce was married to his childhood sweetheart Margaret “Peggy” Greene on June 25, 1966 in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania. Bruce and Peggy met as children at Ridgeview Park a summer cottage community in Derry, Pennsylvania. This year they celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary in June.
Bruce served 6 years in the United States Navy and most recently worked at Goddard Space flight center in Greenbelt Maryland.
Bruce is survived by son Jeffrey Cleland, his wife Kimberley and their 2 children -Kelsey and Tristan – all of Paris France; and daughter Julie Lusk, her husband David and their 3 children- Brady, Amanda and Chase – all of Pasadena Maryland; and daughter Jody Dawson, her husband Patrick and their 3 children – Blake, Matthew and Mitchell – all of Pasadena Maryland.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the family owned and operated MCCULLY-POLYNIAK FUNERAL HOME, P.A. 3204 Mountain Road PASADENA on Friday 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. Where funeral services will be held on Friday at 7:30 PM. Interment Private. In lieu of Flowers the family is asking that donations be made to the American Lung Association.
