Robert Kruemmel

A loving heart stopped beating March 22, 2016 when a dear angel was called back home to be with our Father in Heaven. Robert Charles Kruemmel passed peacefully from this world at the age of 75, comforted by the love of his life and wife Darlene Kruemmel. Born August 19, 1940 in Baltimore City, Bob was the son of the late Robert Aimsley and Anna Elizabeth (Krauss) Kruemmel. He was a loving, quiet, compasionate husband, father and grandfather and friend to many. He was know as "Bob" to all his friends "Dad" "Daddy" to his children and "Pop Pop", "Grandpop" and "Grand dad" to his grandchildren. He loved many animals, Lucky, Thumper, Kelly, Charlotte, Mooney, Sunshine and I am sure many more. He was a dedicated man to his family and hardworking at his business TriState Traders. His weekends were spent at the flea market where he enjoyed every moment meeting and enjoying all that he met. Bob was well know as "The Tool Man" He loved to socialize with people, enjoyed his Thursdays playing Bingo with Darlene and spending time with his children, grandchildren and many pets. Most recently, Bob had started doodling complex designs and patterns and couldn't wait to show all. He loved music, playing guitar and playing the electric piano and often played his handheld computer game at the warehouse. His interests were too many but known by us all. Most of all Bob and Darlene were hand and glove to each other. Bob's right hand woman was by his side through thick and thin. Robert and Darlene were married January 7, 1961 and had just celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary. His wife and soulmate was by his side through everything in life until the end of this life had come. Bob loved to laugh, was eager to help all that knew him and was always there when he was needed. His kind heart was seen by anyone who took the time to listen, Bob was there. During his trying days of poor health and discomfort Bob hid his pain and was there for his family. He is survived by his loving wife Darlene Leona (Byers) Kruemmel, son Robert Kruemmel and wife Bonnie, daughter Karen Galanes and partner Art Yienger, his grandchildren Nicholas Galanes, Jennifer Galanes the late Matthew Galanes, Jessica Kruemmel, William Kruemmel and Isabella Kruemmel; great grandchildren Emily and Nicholas Jr. Dad would have wanted to recognize his many other relatives and friends that are just too many to name. Though saddened by our loss, we celebrate the life and memory of Robert Charles Kruemmel.
