1958 Robert 2025

Robert Frank Milburn, Jr.

January 20, 1958 — March 13, 2025

  • Robert Frank Milburn, Jr. 66, of Pasadena, Maryland, passed away on March 13, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on January 20, Robert grew up in Baltimore, MD, and married the love of his life, Tammy, at Magothy Lutheran Church. Their 48-year marriage was a beautiful testament to love, laughter, resilience, and unwavering devotion. Together, Robert and Tammy built a life centered on their children and grandchildren. Their homes in Magothy Beach and Ocean City were filled with joy, love, loyal dogs, great food, and heartfelt conversations. Robert worked as a Project Manager at HTI Contractors.

  • He was known for his patience, honesty, and gentle nature, often described as "too good for this world." His legacy will live on through the example he set as a father and grandfather—an example others will always strive to follow. An avid lover of model trains, fishing, crabbing, and the beach, Robert cherished every moment spent with his grandkids. He was known to spend hours searching the internet for new adventures to embark on with his family. Family and friends often affectionately called him by various nicknames, including Bert, Bob, Bo, and Uncle Bob.

  •  Robert is survived by his daughters Shannon Rippeon and Lisa Simons, sons-in-law Matthew Rippeon and Charles (Chip) Simons Jr. and grandchildren Lukas Rippeon, Charlie Simons, and Bobby Catherine (Sunshine) Simons. He also leaves behind a vast circle of family and friends who will carry his memory forever. Robert was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother and other dear family members, who now joyfully await his arrival. “I will see you in the light of a thousand suns, I will hear you in the sound of the waves, I will know you when I come, as we all will come, Through the doors, beyond the grave.” Beth Nielsen Chapman.

  • Family and friends are warmly invited to gather and honor Robert’s memory at McCully Polyniak & Collins Funeral Home, located at 3204 Mountain Road, Pasadena, MD 21122.
